Hello? Is this mic on?
One of my resolutions for this year was to start using up my makeup, especially the products I didn’t get much use out of. As I cleared products out of my collection, I added more products I wanted to finish, and have been doing periodic “empties” or check-ins. This is my final check-in of 2018, but I definitely will be continuing this journey into 2019!
As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized I need to start taking better care of my skin. Young Kylah relished in the fact that my skin, no matter how poorly I treated it, never broke out, never got irritated, and always looked soft and smooth.
The best time of year is among us! It’s time for the Fall Sephora VIB Sale.
It’s finally October, which means it’s finally my favorite time of the year: autumn.
We’re over the halfway point of the year, friends! I should’ve made this post a little while ago, but I honestly have been going through a lot of changes lately and blogging wasn’t a priority.
Being a beauty blogger is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, I’m willing to shell out my own money to test out products and review them for others, hoping for those people to not spend money on a crappy product. On the other hand, I’m a small blogger and self-financed, meaning I spend my money on these products, and thus, end up with a collection of subpar makeup items and an emptier bank account.
I purchased a bunch of different facial mists, setting sprays, and primer sprays to do the first installment of a “product battle.”
Nude lip products on dark skin have come quite a long way since the beginning of my makeup life.
I’ve been on a little shopping binge over the last few months…but is this really news?
Alas! The spring semester is finally done, and my inspiration to write has returned. I figured the first subject I should write about are the products I’ve been using constantly as of late, so let’s do this!
If there was such a thing as “Beauty-holics Anonymous,” I would be the first person to attend all the meetings.
Bahi Cosmetics is the breakout beauty brand that has nearly broken Twitter and Instagram. They’re most known for their Sunflower Sweets Serum (SSS). There are plenty of pictures floating around of before and after’s of their customers. Some have histories of terrible acne, and they claim the SSS has completely ridded them of current breakouts while preventing new ones.
Since I’ve only been wearing foundation for about two or three years now, I’m just starting to figure out what products work well for me versus formulas I dislike. I used to just buy anything a beauty influencer recommended on her channel; now I’m much more selective and think about overall shade range, formula, and finish.
Today I have an exciting review on the Morphe X Bretman Babe in Paradise Highlighter Palette! I’m a huge fan of Bretman Rock, as I love his shameless personality and flair. He’s also the king of glow, so when I heard he was collaborating with Morphe for a highlighter palette, I knew I had to purchase it to support and to get my glow on.
Since its so beautiful and bright outside, I’ve been in the mood for bold, bright lip colors. I curated a list of my favorite spring lippies, and I really hope you find a nice one here to add to your collection and get in the spirit of the coming season.
It’s that time of the month again! February, though obviously the shortest month of the year, seemed to fly by in the blink of an eye.
Some products I purchase are practical ones that I truly believe I will love, but then when I try them out…they're a major fail. I decided to compile some of those products to do this post about products I regret purchasing.
In being a beauty blogger, I have a ton of products. I’m also a bit of a shopaholic, so that doesn’t help the situation much either.
It somewhat shocked the makeup world when Physicians Formula came out with their Healthy Foundation, and it definitely was a shocker that the brand, again, known for having two shades of beige in their line, now has a foundation with sixteen shades to choose from.
